The quality of a 720p 50fps high bitrate mkv rip from my usb key was really good (just as it was on the TCL). The sound quality is also essentially the same ie lacking.
You can also adjust the transparency and timeout of the menus on the Changhong where as on the TCL you cannot. As for picture quality, DTV is essentially the same, they both have that "100Hz" EMR crap that doesn't really make much difference to the smoothness but you can tweak with the colours more than the TCL (unless you use the service menu on the TCL).
I can say that the menu system is easier and better looking than the 50" TCL from HN which I have. I asked for the remote and played around with the menus. I visited Bing Lee randomly today (after checking out TGG for that sold out 48" Sony Smart LCD TV) and was surprised to see this deal in their catalogue and even more so that it hasn't been posted here.
